Six Impossible Things by Fiona Wood

Which cover do you prefer?

This was a fun and thoughtful story of a boy who finds his entire life in turmoil:  family, finances, home – it’s all changing in an instant.  I like how Dan took this terrible mess and tried to make something good of it.  He gets a job, makes friends and supports his mom.  While he tries to accomplish his list of Six Impossible Things he shows good humor and good intention.  OK for MS and HS – there is some drinking but there’s nothing glamorous about it.
