I enjoyed the unique plot of this book, but at times Arlie’ s terrible decision making seemed a bit over the top. She survived for years on the run with her meth addicted mother, she should be smart enough not to be fooled by her crazy stepfather. On the plus side, supporting characters are well developed and add much to the story. The newly found uncle was my favorite character.
A good pick for high school.
