He Made Me (Booker and Cash #2) by Oliver Tidy

Booker and Cash are really growing on me. The characters are moving along nicely in this second installment of the series. They’ve both made major life decisions and are finding their way on new paths. As usual with Oliver Tidy’s books, the setting is wonderfully detailed and woven into the plot. Booker’s cafe and bookshop are an appealing setting for the two to argue and solve cases. The action takes us through the countryside and to London as well. On a recent visit to London, I found myself thinking of the action.

Side note:  the author keeps an interesting blog about the writing process.  Worth a look.
