Grand Cru Heist by Jean-Pierre Alaux and Noel Balen

If you are looking for a good mystery with an excellent setting and gorgeous food and wine descriptions this is the series for you. This is book 2 in the series and it involves the theft of Cooker’s car and notebook as well as the title wine. As Cooker recovers from the indignity of a carjacking he travels the French countryside and finds himself embroiled in a murder investigation.

I also read Nightmare In Burgundy.  It’t the third book in the series.  I seem to have missed out on the first book.  I’m usually pretty careful about only reading books in order but it was easy enough to pick up the characters’ development.
